Surrey Hills & Rivers

One of Kharma Mosaics' first projects was working with Surrey Hills and Rivers who are a company based in Surrey to provide outdoor activities and educational camps for juniors on a farm. 

 

Mosaics are so versatile in that respect and offer a calm, enriching activity for children to learn a new skill whilst discovering their design skills and passion for colours.

 

We based the activities on themes, so Christmas decorations, Spring flower pots, Summer woodland mosaics with flowers and using a log slice as a base, and the children have something to take home as a memento.

HAF

Kharma Mosaic is also registered with HAF as a holiday Activity provider for all camps so children everywhere have the opportunity to learn and discover in their holidays from school

"In 2021 we invited Pippa to provide external enrichment to our day and residential camps for young people at our farm near Haslemere and she quickly became a regular and important feature in what we can offer our visitors.  She has a fantastic way with people of any generation, but her gentle, fun and patient approach, and her enthusiasm for her craft is perfect for the youngsters that come to our camps.  She has an endless range of session ideas too, and always works seamlessly with us to consider our audience and the context of their visit, so we know we can rely on her to provide a special experience for our visitors every time.
